What it is​

The foundation of scani5 . Agents are lightweight collectors deployed on endpoints (workstations, servers) or as network scanners. They continuously report what software is installed, what patches are applied, and what configuration state exists on each machine.

  • Endpoint and collector agents — supports direct endpoint monitoring and centralized collection models.
  • Software inventory — tracks application names, versions, vendors, and operating system components.

  • Asset tagging — agents can be labeled with tags for grouping, reporting, and SLA tracking.
